Youthco AIDS Society is Canada’s first youth-driven organization leading the HIV and HepC movement through peer education, support, and shared leadership.

The Vancouver Friends For Life Society serves as a catalyst to enhance the wellness of individuals living with a life threatening illness by providing complementary and alternative health and support services.

Out On Screen, for 11 days each August, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival brings the very best in queer independent cinema from around the world to Vancouver. As the city’s second largest film festival, they privilege creative innovation and audience experience.

The Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) brings together members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community, their friends, allies and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBTTQ community by producing quality, inclusive events such as the Pride Parade and Festival.

Vancouver Dyke March, the hard working Dyke March volunteers produce the successful east side parade and festival in conjunction with the Vancouver Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride week.

GIVE Society, in recognition of the problems faced by many communities in Kenya, a group of UBC students formed GIVE in 2005. Their original mandate was to bring HIV/AIDS education to areas of Kenya with a high prevalence of HIV infection with the belief that knowledge is the first step to combating this pandemic. Since 2005, GIVE hs worked exclusively in the community of Kanyawegi, which borders Lake Victoria.

The 2nd GLISA North America Outgames Vancouver 2011 will be held from July 25th to July 31st, 2011 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and everybody is welcome! This continental event will include multi-sport elements supported by the Gay and Lesbian International Sports Association. A key component to the games is the Human Rights Conference with workshops on diversity, and an awards ceremony recognizing individuals and corporations that have influenced LGBT rights. Additional elements include Cultural Activities and Opening and Closing ceremonies. All our Pride events are the Official Womenzone Events.
